Programs & Services

The YWCA of Lewiston, ID - Clarkston, WA serves women, children and men in seven counties (five in Idaho - two in Washington).

This area covers over 15,000 square miles.

 

Those we serve include victims of domestic violence, homeless families or individuals, victims of crime, and those in immediate crisis.

Through our shelter programs the YWCA is able to provide a safe environment to foster independence through advocacy and education.

Through our emergency services program we are able to provide resources for those in crisis.

 

In 2005, some of the services provided were:

... more than 15,904 lodging nights

...  over 13,197 meals for those who were hungry

... crisis intervention by phone for 7,040 individuals
